Learning Landscape games, construction guides, and community:

We at Project H believe that creative solutions for public education should be accessible to all, easy to implement, and supported by a like-minded community. The Learning Landscape, an educational playground we designed to be built from reclaimed tires in one day, anywhere in the world, is now open-source and free to all. The new Learning Landscape Network makes available all construction documents, dozens of adaptable games created by teachers around the world, stories and connections to schools already using the playground, and resources for schools who'd like to build one.

Features include:

  • Access to free and easy-to-follow construction documents for building the Learning Landscape at your school, in one day, with simple materials and some volunteer sweat.
  • A searchable database of of games that teach students core subjects through play, teamwork, and activity. These games have been created by teachers using the Learning Landscape all over the world. Check out the latest, game "Foxes and Rabbits," created by educators and Project H volunteers in San Francisco.
  • network of schools around the world who are currently using the Learning Landscape playground system. Read their stories and connect to fellow educators.
  • An easy-to-use submission form to send in your own games.
  • A hilarious and illustrative video of students using the Learning Landscape (are they learning math or playing at recess? It's hard to tell).
  • A place to contact us directly for more help, construction support, or anything else!
Visit the Learning Landscape Network to learn more, or to start the process of building a playground at your school!

Posters!
